DICTATOR smoke and heat detectors have been tested in accordance with European Standard EN 54 and are approved for use as interruption devices in hold-open systems on fire protection closures. An ex-proof version is also available.
All essential functions (power supply, control and evaluation of attached devices e.g. smoke detectors, reset, etc.) are combined in one device, so that you only need to connect the electromagnets and smoke detectors.
For hazardous areas, DICTATOR furnishes a hold-open system especially for hazardous areas that meets the requirements of the EX directive 2014/34/EU.

Fire doors with spring closers often slam shut loudly. DICTATOR door checks prevent this by catching the door just before it closes and smoothly pulls it shut. The V1600F door check has been tested and approved for use on fire doors.
To make the work of installing hold-open systems as simple as possible, Dictator supply a wide range of accessories such as hand release switches and mounting brackets for electro-magnets.
